Etihad Airways keeps the United Arab Emirates (UAE) connected with the world’s big cities. As a commercial airline based in Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways serves more than 85 destinations in 55 countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East; destinations include London, Moscow, Mumbai, Damascus, Kuwait, and Islamabad. The airline also offers North American services in New York and Toronto. Etihad Airways’ fleet consists of nearly 80 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, including 22 wide-body A330s and 16 wide-body 777-300s. Etihad Airways also operates a cargo services division. The airline was founded in 2003 by a royal decree issued by a member of Abu Dhabi’s royal family.

Etihad Airways has been voted the World’s Leading Airline, for the fifth consecutive year, at the World Travel Awards 2013, held in Doha on November 30th.
Etihad Airways announced orders for 87 Airbus aircraft, as a wave of orders by Gulf airlines topped $150 billion at the opening of the Dubai Airshow on Sunday.
The Abu Dhabi carrier said it would purchase 50 A350 aircraft and 26 smaller A321neo planes as well as 10 A320neo.
It also placed an order for one A330-200 freighter and said it had taken options for a total of 30 more aircraft in a deal that could bring the total value to $26.9 billion.
Reuters reported on Saturday that Etihad was close to ordering 50 long-haul A350s as well as smaller planes.

Esa zona además se ha puesto de moda por bares, restaurantes y discotecas y con el nuevo mall se va a consolidar aun mas. Lo tienen todo y además mas cerca de Dubai
Pero es una zona de gente de Etihad, no creo que la gente que trabaje en Sowwah o Al rehén, vaya a vivir por allí…
Casi todos los expats occidentales del curro que conozco con familias viven en Raha Beach y Raha Gardens, no les importan los 40mins de coche sobre todo pq alli hay villas y en Reem no
Y otros muchos viven en Dubai Marina, tampoco les importa conducir a cambio de vivir en una zona de occidentales en la que tienen todo el ocio y la diversion que necesitan. En Reem estan siendo muy "guevones" y se lo toman con demasiada calma:
