Buscar Trabajo en los Emiratos
Que es mejor, presentarse allí a la búsqueda, irse a un hotel y tirarte un mes por allí buscando, buscar trabajo vía internet, conoceis alguna web que oferten trabajo por allí.
Soy ingeniero civil de momento suspendido el contrato pero no pienso estarme esperando aquí en España así que me he decidido a salir al extranjero, me llaman los Emiratos, Qatar, Arabia Saudí, toda esa zona ya que allí hay actualmente mucho dinero, son la mayoría paraisos fiscales o casi y los salarios por lo que he visto son bastante buenos para la gente cualificada.
Vamos el tema es ¿por donde empiezo?
Yo buscaria en Linkedin gente que ya este aqui en tus empresas objetivo y les preguntaria.
OK, pues al ‘asalto’ de linkedin a ver si encuentro algún nacional español trabajando por allí….. no se me había ocurrido demasiado…. en realidad ‘empresa objetivo’ no tengo ninguna, más bien lo que tengo es un objetivo salarial…. de momento estoy mirando y hay incluso webs gubernamentales con ofertas de trabajo, lo que es una pasada es cuando piden ‘nacionales’ para un puesto, les pagan espectacularmente…. que pena no ser emiratí…
Todas las empresas tiene que tener un cupo de nacionales, y los sueldos para nacionales no son los mismos que para el resto, pero es imposible volverse emirati, incluso si te casas con una emirati, tus hijos nunca seran emiraties.
Construction companies are struggling to attract workers to the growing markets of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, putting some projects under financial strain, executives have revealed.
Many construction firms and developers who have played a key role in building Dubai during the past decade are now also expanding into the emerging neighbouring markets, where Saudi Arabia is ploughing billions of oil money into housing, infrastructure and hospitality and Qatar is spending a similar amount boosting its international appeal and preparing for the 2022 World Cup.
But the widespread and rapid demand is clogging access to building supplies as well as labourers.
Arabtec chief operating officer Nabil Al Kindi said the majority of expatriate workers – which make up a significant majority of the construction workforce – were reluctant to move to Saudi Arabia or Qatar, particularly if they were already living in the more attractive Dubai.
“We have a challenge bringing the right people into Qatar because most of the best want to be in Dubai,” Al Kindi said.
“Everyone I ask ‘can we move you to Saudi Arabia or Qatar’ [they reply], ‘no I want to be here in Dubai, if that’s not an option there are other companies I can work with’. So I think that’s a challenge.”
